Education:

• Advanced university degree in Public Health, Social Sciences, International Development, International Relations or related field.

Knowledge and Experience:

• Minimum 7 years of professional progressive work experience in SRHR in East and Southern
• Africa, including in humanitarian settings.
• Strong track record in programme management, management of high performing teams, results-
• based planning, monitoring and reporting, proven ability to produce demonstrable results;
• Proven experience in managing complex partnerships.
• Experience in applying regional approaches to strengthen national outcomes beneficial.
• Strong skills in managing interpersonal relationships, and teamwork.
• Knowledge and previous experience managing multi-stakeholder programmes, with experience
• in managing joint UN programmes an advantage.
• Experience in the use of office software packages, and handling of web-based management systems

Languages:

• Fluency in English; knowledge of other official UN languages is desirable.
