We’re seeking a seasoned Trade Specialist in Foreign Procurement to join our dynamic team. This role is
pivotal in managing international procurement processes, ensuring efficiency and compliance, and
capitalizing on global trade and financial opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement international procurement strategies.
Negotiate contracts with overseas suppliers.
Ensure strict compliance with international trade laws.
Manage relationships with foreign banks for financial transactions.
Coordinate logistics and oversee the supply chain for imports.
Conduct comprehensive risk assessments for foreign procurement activities.
Prepare and manage international procurement budgets.
Handle Trade Finance activities, including Letters of Credit and Bank Guarantees.
Participate in government tenders and contribute to trade-related projects.
Build and maintain relationships with banks and corporate clients.
Prepare accurate and timely reports for senior management.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in Trade Finance within a major
trading company or bank.
Demonstrated expertise in negotiating, analytics, and communication.
In-depth knowledge of international trade laws, customs regulations, and Incoterms.
Proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
Strong experience in handling trade finance documents, regulatory reporting, and team
management.
