Liaison officer is expected to execute assignments that will be given from his supervisor. The liaison officer must adhere and respect company’s rule and regulations. She/he must have smooth communications and cooperation with his/her supervisor or the entire company workers.
Roles and responsibilities
- Build an excellent networking with the regional government offices.
- Be a point of contact for the company where there is a need for representation.
- Provide refined and genuine report to the immediate supervisor
- Assist in preparation of weekly and monthly reports.
- Contact our main suppliers, stakeholders and other government offices when deemed necessary.
- Be a mediator between the company and clients.
- Liaise with other disciplines for coordination efforts, initiate and generate technical instructions, deal with any “people” issues in a positive manner.
- Be an open minded to take orders or instructions from your supervisor so as to execute accordingly.
- If deemed necessary you will be expected to handle some activities on behalf of purchaser where he is not around.
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
- Degree in Office supply Management, Marketing, Procurement, Economics, Purchasing and other related field.
- Computer literate, good knowledge of Ms-word and excel.
- Strong communication skills and networking with different government offices is needed.
- Ample experience of all import process.
- Good communications and cooperation skills.
- Honesty and punctuality is the key for the role.
