We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Driver to join our team. As a Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and/or passengers to their destinations in a timely and efficient manner. The ideal candidate will have a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and excellent customer service skills.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate company vehicles to transport goods and/or passengers
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations to ensure a safe and smooth journey
- Plan routes and schedules to optimize efficiency and meet delivery deadlines
- Assist with loading and unloading goods, ensuring proper handling and secure packaging
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintenance to ensure roadworthiness
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing any inquiries or concerns from passengers or clients
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, including safety protocols and dress code
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth operations
Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- High school, diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience as a Driver or in a similar role
- Excellent knowledge of traffic laws and regulations
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, if required
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, if needed
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a delivery or transportation role
- Familiarity with local roads and routes
- Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting
