The county’s rich history is joined at the hip with that of the entire nation. When the Kenya-Uganda railway line was constructed, although heavily criticized as the Lunatic Express or a road to nowhere, it had a profound impact on the creation of the nation today known as Kenya.
For appointment to this grade, a candidate must be in possession of: –
- Bachelors’ degree in any of the following disciplines: Education or Technology Education from a recognized institution
OR
- Bachelors’ degree in Science/Arts with a post-graduate Diploma in Education from a recognized institution and
- Certificate in computer applications from a recognized institution
Duties and Responsibilities
- Collecting, collating and analyzing data on youth polytechnic enrollment, training projections, subsidized tuition scheme and grants, trainees industrial attachment, special needs, greening of youth polytechnics and staff skills inventory;
- Preparing reports on requirements of youth polytechnics in terms of curriculum support material, tools and equipment;
- Participating in inter-zonal youth polytechnics activities.
