  • As a Remote Medical Content Writer, you will be responsible for creating engaging and informative medical content for our app.
  • You will collaborate with our team of health experts to produce accurate and reliable information that educates and empowers our users.
  • We are looking for a detail-oriented and knowledgeable individual who is passionate about healthcare and has experience working in a health-related role, preferably for a health app.

Job Functions / Responsibilities

  • Research and write high-quality medical content for our app, including articles, blog posts, FAQs, and educational materials, covering a wide range of health topics.
  • Develop engaging and user-friendly content that resonates with our target audience and meets their informational needs.
  • Stay updated on the latest medical research, trends, and developments to ensure content is current and relevant.
  • Optimize content for search engines (SEO) and user experience (UX), incorporating relevant keywords and formatting techniques.
  • Edit and proofread content for accuracy, clarity, and consistency, ensuring adherence to brand voice and style guidelines.
  • Monitor content performance and user feedback, making data-driven decisions to improve content quality and user engagement.
  • Contribute to content strategy and planning, identifying opportunities for new content initiatives and improvements.

Requirements / Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Medicine, Biology, or Journalism.
  • 3 – 6 years of experience working in a health-related role, preferably as a medical writer or content creator for a health app.
  • Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to communicate complex medical information clearly and concisely.
  • Excellent research skills, with the ability to gather and synthesize information from multiple sources.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and disease processes.
  • Familiarity with evidence-based medicine principles and medical literature databases.
  • Experience working remotely and independently, with strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a passion for health and wellness.
  • Availability to start on March 18th, 2024, and commit to full-time remote work.
