Responsibilities
• Ensure safe work practices by attending compulsory safety courses and meetings.
• Assist and conduct incident/accident investigations.
• Field Level Risk Assessment completed accurately for every task assigned.
• Team based Job Safety Analysis completed accurately for every task without Standard operating Procedure.
• Maintain a high standard of housekeeping in the work area both during and after completing a job.
• This includes returning used parts to stores, welding m/c, & equipment to designated areas, and spills cleaned up.
• Comply with Occupational Health and Environmental Policies, as well as other policies, procedures, and guidelines.
• Compliance to Standard Operating Procedures for safe work daily –Isolation, Lockout,
• Confined space, working at height, lifting & rigging etc.
• Fully compliance to maintenance of Process control systems, PLC & SCADA with <5% downtime.
• Full compliance to OEM during installation, maintenance & calibration of VSD & analyzers such as: PSI analyzer, WAD analyzer, courier analyzer, TAC 1000 analyzer weight meters, Conveyors,
• Densitometers, heat exchanger, acacia reactor, electro winning, smelting furnace, HCN Fixed
• Detectors, metal detectors, VFD’s, Flow meters, crushers, filter machine, Mills, Knelsons, PLC,PH
• Equipment, Air Compressors, oxygen plant, sensors, Lab Equipment
• Inspection of Measuring/Testing Instruments conducted daily before use & calibrations performed to OEM schedule or when required.
• Use, Interpret OEM Manuals for maintaining & repairing of required equipment, in accuracy discrepancy to OEM Specifications
• Compliance to scheduled equipment inspections daily, weekly, Monthly, and identified defects.
• Compliance to Equipment Preventive Maintenance Schedule & work carried out accordingly daily
• Response/ attention to breakdowns to carry priority & attended to as soon as practically possible.
• Competent in the use/operation of all required power tools and hand tools, inspected and maintained daily.
• Compliance to Standard Operating Procedures for all new installations every day.
• Compliance to Standard Operating Procedures for all Electrical /Instrumentation Maintenance & Repair work conducted daily.
• All Equipment used to be stored safely & Correctly at all times.
• Under the direction of the supervisor, provide appropriate on-the-job training and coaching to less experience personnel.
• Prepare and file all required records ready for auditing at all times electronic & hard copies!
• Maintain communication with FLL during shift as availability status.
• Shift Handovers conducted accurately every day.

Qualification requirements
• Electrical/Instrumentation trade certificate – (FTC/IMTT / VETA GRADE ONE)
• Tanzanian Valid Driving License is an added advantage.

Experience and competencies needed.
• 3 Years’ experience similar position in Mining industry
• Must have experience in instrumentation.
