Key Responsibilities:
- Procurement Strategy: Develop and implement effective procurement strategies to optimize costs while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Supplier Management: Cultivate and manage relationships with suppliers, negotiate contracts, and monitor performance to ensure compliance with company standards.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks in the supply chain, ensuring continuity and reliability.
- Contract Negotiation: Lead negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable terms and conditions, including pricing, delivery schedules, and payment terms.
- Compliance: Ensure procurement activities adhere to relevant regulations, policies, and ethical standards.
- Budget Management: Collaborate with finance teams to develop and manage procurement budgets, tracking and reporting on expenditures.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand their procurement needs and align strategies to support overall business objectives.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in procurement roles, demonstrating progressive responsibility and achievement.
- Professional certification in procurement (e.g., CIPS) is a plus.
