- Develop change comms strategies that meet the needs of the change at hand and align with the Foundation’s objectives.
- Craft clear, consistent, and compelling messages regarding the changes – the reason for the change, the anticipated impact, and the benefits for colleagues.
- Create a range of communication materials, e.g., newsletters, presentations, FAQs, etc., to help disseminate information about the changes and keep colleagues informed and engaged.
- Identify, understand, and relate with key audiences, analyze their needs and concerns related to the changes, and develop strategies to engage and communicate with them effectively.
- Collaborate with the change management/project team to integrate communication efforts into broader change management initiatives, ensuring that communication supports the project’s change objectives.
- Design mechanisms for collecting feedback from employees and stakeholders about the changes, analyze the feedback received and provide recommendations for adjustments to the communication strategy as needed.
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and regularly evaluate the communication strategy and tactics, gather lessons learned, and adjust to improve effectiveness and ensure that communication efforts remain aligned with original objectives.
- Foster strong working relationships with various stakeholders across the enterprise.
WHO YOU ARE
- Bachelor’s degree in English, communications, business, or a relevant field.
- 10+ years of professional experience in writing for traditional or digital agencies, in-house marketing, or communications teams.
- Ability to master the Mastercard Foundation’s tone of voice and deliver content that makes complex concepts easy to understand.
- Experience writing short and long-form content and creating accurate and engaging content.
- Ability to generate big ideas and a creative approach to storytelling.
- Experience in working with and interviewing subject matter experts and project managers.
- Knowledge and proficiency in working with communications agencies, video production houses, etc., and ability to negotiate and manage vendor contracts.
- Resourceful and able to work with minimal guidance.
- Ability to manage several complex projects simultaneously and deliver quality work under deadline pressure.
- A self-starter who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional project management, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
- Hold an advanced degree in education, health, or a related field.
- Flexible, adaptable, and able to execute a range of job duties and changing priorities.
- Possess excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills with the ability to articulate information to a variety of constituents across cultures.
