Lycopodium is currently recruiting for a Non-Process Plant Infrastructure Superintendent to join our growing Project team in Ahafo North.

Reporting to the Construction Manager- Plant/NPI the Non-Process Plant Infrastructure Superintendent will be responsible for overseeing the construction, maintenance, and operations of non-process plant infrastructure within our organization. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and project management skills to support our Ahafo North Project Team on site.

The tasks you’ll perform

Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure infrastructure packages are functional, cost-effective, and compliant with regulatory requirements.

Lead and supervise construction Contractors for non-process plant infrastructure, including buildings, utilities, roads, and other related facilities.

Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, codes, and standards related to non-process plant infrastructure, including safety, environmental, and building codes.

Coordinate with Contractors, Vendors, and Clients to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to specifications.

Oversee the hand over to Operations of utilities, including water, electricity, HVAC systems, and other essential services.

The expertise you’ll bring

Manage and mentor a team of Infrastructure Supervisors, Engineers, Contractors and support staff.

Provide guidance, support, and training to ensure team members are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.

Foster a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement within the infrastructure team.
