Lycopodium is currently recruiting for an Infrastructure Superintendent to join our growing Project team in Yamfo, Ahafo North.

Reporting to the Construction Manager -Plant / NPI the Infrastructure Superintendent will be responsible for managing the Infrastructure and MSA Construction Contractor at the Ahafo North Plant site ensuring compliance to Company, Client, regulatory and contractual requirements.

The tasks you’ll perform

  • Communicate consistently with subcontractors and staff the expectations and directions regarding schedules, construction methods, company policies and procedures, permits, safety/loss prevention, quality control, and other performance standards.
  • Review and approve the submissions and revisions of project drawings with subcontractors and other superintendents.
  • Manage the process of developing scope strategies for subcontracts and self-performed work and assigning of subject matter experts of resources accordingly.
  • Review construction drawings and specifications, planning and preparation of execution, inspection, testing, and safe work plans, and pre-empt problem areas.
  • Manage and participate in the development of construction strategies, project execution planning and scheduling.

  • Strong knowledge and demonstrable experience in all aspects of Construction and maintenance.
  • Capacity to delegate appropriately.
  • Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision whilst consistently producing a high quality of deliverables.
  • Solid technical aptitude, analytical and problem-solving skills
