You’ll be responsible for:

  • Developing, maintaining, and executing a comprehensive suite of manual tests and regression lists to ensure the reliability and quality of product releases.
  • Collaborating closely with customer support and internal feedback channels to investigate, triage, and prioritize identified issues, ensuring a swift and effective resolution process.
  • Becoming a proficient and power user of our clients’ products, delving into their functionality at a deep level to enhance testing practices and contribute to overall product quality improvement.

Ideally, you’ll have:

  • A degree in computer science or mathematics, coupled with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a professional QA role.
  • Demonstrated expertise in manual testing methodologies for evaluating web and mobile applications (Android & iOS), proficiently identifying discrepancies related to functionality, usability, and design issues.
  • Experience with such domains/projects: Block Chain Technology, Data Science, AI, Machine Learning, US Mortgage Industry Standards. 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with diverse teams, including individuals with varying technical backgrounds.
  • Familiarity with Defect Management Processes and relevant tools such as GitHub, Atlassian Jira, Azure Test Plans, Notion, and Backlog.
  • Understanding of Agile and Scrum processes to facilitate seamless integration with development cycles.
  • Knowledge of SQL and scripting. Ability to create, understand and run SQL queries.
  • Comfort with ambiguity, adaptability to change, and the ability to learn new systems quickly, showcasing a talent for finding creative solutions.
  • Proven success as a self-starter in a fully distributed work environment.
  • Proficiency in English at an upper-intermediate level.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to efficiently identify and isolate issues during manual testing processes.
  • Attention to detail, ensuring thorough testing coverage and the ability to spot subtle defects.
  • Excellent organizational skills to manage and prioritize manual testing tasks effectively.
  • Adaptability to evolving project requirements and the capacity to quickly comprehend complex systems.
  • Collaboration skills to work closely with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively on testing outcomes.
