We are seeking a skilled and experienced Technical Writer and Trainer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and maintaining high-quality technical documentation and training materials for our products and services. This role will involve working closely with subject matter experts to gather information, write clear and concise documentation, and deliver effective training programs to internal staff and external customers.

Key Responsibilities:
Documentation Creation and Maintenance:

•  Develop and maintain a wide range of technical documents, including user manuals, installation guides, API documentation, release notes, and
• troubleshooting guides.
•  Ensure documentation is accurate, clear, concise, and user-friendly.
•  Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather information and understand product features and functionalities.

 Training Program Development:

•  Design, develop, and update training programs and materials, including presentations, training manuals, videos, and e-learning modules.
•  Customize training content to meet the needs of different audiences, such as internal employees, customers, and partners.

 Training Delivery:

• Conduct training sessions for internal teams, customers, and partners either in person or virtually.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments and feedback, making necessary adjustments for improvement.

 Content Management:

•  Manage a centralized repository for all documentation and training materials, ensuring easy access and version control.
• Maintain a regular update schedule to keep documentation and training materials correct.

 Subject Matter Expert Collaboration:

•  Work closely with subject matter experts to extract technical information and translate it into user-friendly content.
•  Seek feedback and validation from subject matter experts to ensure accuracy and completeness of documentation and training materials.

 Continuous Improvement:

• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in technical writing and training.
• Continuously improve documentation and training processes to enhance their quality and effectiveness.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., English, Technical Communication, Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline).
• Proven experience as a technical writer and trainer, preferably in a technology or software development environment.
• Experience in training tools such as Camtasia, Microsoft PowerPoint, Google Slides, Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) and Interactive whiteboards
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to understand complex technical concepts and translate them into user- friendly documentation and training materials.
•  Excellent organizational and project management skills.
• Experience with multimedia content creation (e.g., videos and graphics) is a plus.
• Experience in documentation tools such as Microsoft Word, Google Docs, GitHub/GitLab, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, or Canva for creating diagrams, charts, and illustrations, Snagit or Skitch for capturing and annotating screenshots, PDF generators, JIRA for self-managing tasks
