About this Job

  • GeoPoll, the world’s largest mobile surveying platform working in emerging markets, is looking for CATI (Computer Assisted Telephone Interviews) interviewers based in Kenya.
  • This position will be responsible for conducting remote telephone interviews using the interviewer’s Android Smart Phone Device. The trainings will however be in the office. GeoPoll will provide airtime for calling.
  • Please note that interviewers will make calls from wherever they are located within Nairobi, so this may be a fully remote opportunity.

Key Responsibilities

CATI Interviewing:

  • Initiate calls to GeoPoll panelists and conduct live interviews
  • Input survey responses into the GeoPoll CATI Application
  • Upload survey responses to the GeoPoll platform
  • Manage survey sample and call sheets for personal work use
  • Adhere to GeoPoll’s survey ethics, standards and best practices when conducting interviews
  • Adherence to GeoPoll’s survey monitoring and quality control standards

Team Coordination:

  • Maintain daily check in calls and meetings with CATI Supervisor
  • Attend project and operations trainings held by GeoPoll Project Managers
  • Communicate project updates through meetings, email, and WhatsApp
  • Key Work Equipment
  • Interviewers must have access to Android smartphones.
  • Team Reporting Structure
  • The position will report to GeoPoll’s local CATI Supervisor based in Kenya.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Must be fluent in Sudanese Arabic
  • 2+ years’ experience in Computer Assisted Telephone Interviewing (CATI) or Call Centers
  • 2+ years’ experience with Microsoft Suite (Office, Outlook, Excel, Word)
  • Extremely self-motivated and highly organized
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to take initiative and develop other team members
  • Ability to exercise good judgment and discretion in confidential matters
