Sales & Marketing Manager responsibilities
• Generate new business, close deals, and increase revenue by cold calling, on-site visits and sales tours, and community networking
• Identify new business leads by examining local market trends and competition activities
• Establish and grow our market share by developing and maintaining relationships with major group and catering clients
• Supports the director of sales and marketing in preparing the department budget as well as the hotel’s overall sales goals and strategy
• Conduct yourself as a professional representative of the camp at various industry tradeshows, conferences, and adhere to the guidelines
• Provide with management with timely sales & marketing strategic information.
• Walk closely with revenue manager to ensure proposed rates negotiations meet the financial needs of the hotel.
• Build and maintain relationship with existing and new customers to enable future bookings. Activities include sales calling, entertainment and trade shows.
• Attend all department and lodge meetings as necessary.
• Develop strong relationship with on property front office team to ensure working in unity and always striving to achieve the same goals.
Qualifications and Skills
• Bachelor degree in Business administration, Tourism & Hospitality or other related fields.
• 8+ years’ experience preferably in hospitality industry in which 3+ years must be in managerial position
• Empathy towards customers and other colleges.
• Perfect personal presentation with warm, confident and hospitable personality.
• Communication skills, networking, customer service, marketing knowledge, leadership skills, analytical skills are much required.
