The responsibilities of the position are to be performed in accordance with the provisions of Acacia
‘Employment Contract’ & the ‘Terms of Service’.
Purpose
• To carry out the duties of English Teacher under the direction of the School Director and the
• Senior School Principal.
• To promote the aims and objectives of the school and maintain its philosophy of education and
• Christian witness.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Typically, as an English Teacher you will be required to:
• Have experience of teaching across all ages including middle school and high school and exam
• classes. Knowledge and experience of IGCSE and Advanced Placement English Language and
• English Literature would be preferable but not essential.
• Have a love of the subject.
• Aspire to be a talented, dynamic, and ambitious teacher, who will ensure good progress for all
• students.
