Summary

• As Principal Manager, Product Management you will define and deliver on strategies to monitor and drive up fundamental Windows quality metrics like Performance, Power usage, and Reliability. You’ll work with your local engineering counterparts to lead and deliver in partnership with the worldwide Fundamentals team and broader Windows organization. Your work will support 1.5B Windows users around the world.

Responsibilities

• Establish measures of success for your project areas that scope the team’s work and drive toward all-up Windows Fundamentals goals.
• Define strategic initiatives that help us deliver on our goals of high-quality Windows experiences.
• Lead your PM team on day to day tasks including delivering functional specs, aligning with partners and stakeholders, establishing and monitoring success metrics, reporting progress to multiple levels of organization leadership.
• Partner with local engineering teams and the worldwide Windows organization to deliver on shared accountabilities.

Qualifications

Required Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, or equivalent experience
• 6+ years of experience in product/technical program management
• 4+ years of people management experience
• 4+ years of experience leading cross-functional and/or cross-team projects

Preferred Qualification

• Demonstrated experience creating and driving product strategy, delivering products at scale
• Self-motivated, proactive and results-oriented
• 3+ years of product management experience working on OS, embedded systems or similarly deep technological areas
• 2+ years of experience in data analysis, AI, or product engineering
