Job description

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Develop curriculum and participate in its implementation;
• Carry out lectures, and conduct tutorials, seminars, and practicals for undergraduate students;
• Conduct seminars for Postgraduate students;
• Assess undergraduate students coursework and academic progress;
• Invigilate students during examinations;
• Set and mark assignments, tests, and examinations and submit results on time;
• Prepare manuals and case studies for training;
• Participate in multidisciplinary research projects;
• Provide close supervision and guidance to undergraduate students;
• Participate in developing and managing various university activities;
• Participate in writing Research Grants;
• Participate in research and disseminate findings;
• Participate in consultancy and community services;

• Attend/organize workshops, conferences, and symposia;
• Participate in Continuing Education and Professional (CEP) and faculty Development activities to improve Professional and teaching skills;
• Provide specialized clinical and Community services where applicable for in-patients and out-patients.;
• Supervise case presentation and participate in training of other staff and;
• Perform any other duties that may be assigned by a competent authority.

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
• Holder of Master of Dentistry (MDent.), Master of Medicine in Community Health (MMed Community Health), Master of Medicine in Paediatrics and Child Health (MMedPaed and Child Health) and Master of Medicine in Obstetrics and Gynaecology (MMED OG) with a GPA of at least 4.0 out of 5.0 and an average of B+ grade in the relevant subject and first Degree GPA with a minimum GPA of 3.8 from a recognized University.
