Working closely with the Administrative Coordinator, the Admin/Finance assistant will take care of the administrative management of the Coordination Office and ongoing projects.
Key duties
- manage rental payments and purchases of goods and services
- oversee the accounting of the Coordination Office and projects managed in the area
- collaborate in the preparation of monthly country-level funding requests
- maintain
- support the Administrative Coordinator in promoting efficient and innovative solutions for cash management based on current trends
- collaborate in the reconciliation of the Coordination Office’s banks and cash
- supervise the Finance Officer in the country’s accounting management
- supervise and support administrative staff during payroll preparation and accounting
- collaborate with the Administrative Coordinator in the preparation of project audits and financial assessment
- support the submission of financial and economic documents required by donors
Requirements
- Degree in Accounting, University Degree in Economics or equivalent title
- Excellent knowledge of English
- Mastery in using accounting applications
- Previous experience in admin/finance management of international cooperation projects in fragile countries and/or low resources settings
