Training Delivery
• Conduct training sessions for new and existing heavy equipment operators
• Teach safe operating practices, equipment handling techniques and maintenance procedures
Curriculum Development
• Develop training materials, manuals and visual aids
• Create customized training programs based on specific equipment types and industry requirements
• Keep training content up to date with the latest industry standards and best practices
Assessment and Evaluation
• Evaluate trainees performance during practical exercises
• Conduct written and practical assessments to measure competency
• Provide constructive feedback to help operators improve their skills
Equipment Maintenance
• Teach trainees how to perform routine maintenance tasks on heavy machinery
• Explain preventive maintenance schedules and procedures
Qualification Required & Experience
Capability Requirement
• At least 5 years experience as a heavy earth moving equipment operator in a mine
• Proven expertise in training operators on heavy earth moving machines on mine sites, i.e, Trucks, Dozers, Excavators
• Relevant certifications as an equipment operator trainer
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong instructional abilities
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices
• Ability to adapt training methods to different learning styles
• Ability to demonstrates equipment operation physically
• Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Ability to drive and possession of valid driver’s license and possession of advanced license such as License E
