Responsibilities
• Ensure safe work practices by attending compulsory safety courses and meetings.
• Wear the appropriate PPE for the task at hand.
• Assist and conduct incident/accident investigations.
• Comply with Occupational Health and Environmental Policies, as well as other policies, procedures and guidelines.
• Install and maintain of all mono and dewatering pumping systems.
• Knowledge of dewatering networks, pressures pressurised equipment, helical/worm drive pumps and accessories.
• Troubleshoots and repairs of CEMO helical pumps.
• Complete required testing and safety checks on specified equipment.
• Attend to breakdowns and complete necessary fault-finding.
• Ensure total adherence to all safety, health and environmental procedures and guidelines as well as all other company policies and procedures.
• Under the direction of the supervisor, provide appropriate on-the-job training and coaching to less experience personnel.

• Implementation and execution of all tasks and instructions as instructed by superiors.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
• Ordinary level certificate – Form IV
• Certificate in Mechanical/Electrical field

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
• Minimum 2 years of experience working in mining areas and capable of working Underground

SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS:
• Experience in pump repair and rebuilding of FLYGT submersible pumps.
• Experience in pump repair and rebuild of CEMO Mono pumps.
• Sound understanding of tagging and isolation procedures.
