Under the direct supervision of the Prison Reform Project Coordinator of Ghana the UN Volunteer will undertake the following tasks:
• Support the Prison Reform Team Ghana in its everyday communication, including web sto-ries and social media campaigns ensuring visibility of the project
• Assist the team in the roll-out of project events and activities, e.g. organization of training workshops and conferences
• Support research activities related to prison reform, including data collection and evaluation
• Contribute to the preparation of correspondences and reports
• Support the team to arrange appointments, meetings, trainings and missions including participants’ travel and administrative arrangements
Required education level
Bachelor degree or equivalent in Political Science, International Relations, Law, Communications, Administration, Economics, Management, Social Science or other related fields.
Required experience
1 years of experience in or demonstrated interest in Rule of Law, justice and/or accountability • Youth, prevention of radicalization
• Women, Peace and Security
• Crime Prevention
• Previous experience as a volunteer and/or experience of another culture, (i.e. studies, volunteer work, internship) would be highly regarded.
