To produce analytical reports and undertake short-term research to support monetary policy formulation.
Main Accountabilities
- Produce analytical reports on macroeconomic developments to support monetary policy formulation.
- Undertake short-term research on macroeconomic developments to support monetary policy formulation.
- Collect macroeconomic data and maintain a database.
- Liaise with relevant stakeholders on economic developments.
Qualifications and Experience
- MSc/MA/MPhil in Economics, Money and Banking or Monetary and Financial Economics or equivalent.
- Grade 12 School Certificate with minimum five (5) ‘O’ Levels (credit or better).
- Three (3) years’ relevant experience.
Key Knowledge and Attributes
- Strong macroeconomic modelling and forecasting skills.
- Ability to work in an intense deadline environment.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft office and econometrics software.
- Interpersonal skills and ability to work harmoniously in a team.
- Strong writing and research skills.
- Analytical thinking.
