Main Accountabilities

• Produce analytical reports on macroeconomic developments to support monetary policy formulation.
• Undertake short-term research on macroeconomic developments to support monetary policy formulation.
• Collect macroeconomic data and maintain a database.
• Liaise with relevant stakeholders on economic developments.

Qualifications and Experience

• MSc/MA/MPhil in Economics, Money and Banking or Monetary and Financial Economics or equivalent.
• Grade 12 School Certificate with minimum five (5) ‘O’ Levels (credit or better).
• Three (3) years’ relevant experience.

Key Knowledge and Attributes

• Strong macroeconomic modelling and forecasting skills.
• Ability to work in an intense deadline environment.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft office and econometrics software.
• Interpersonal skills and ability to work harmoniously in a team.
• Strong writing and research skills.
• Analytical thinking.
