Kenya Forest Service is a corporate body established under the Forest Conservation and Management Act no 34 of 2016 (henceforth referred to as the Act). The Act which was operationalized on 31st March 2017, gave the Service’s mandate as “to provide for the development and sustainable management, including conservation and rational utilization of all forest resources for the socioeconomic development of the country and for connected purposes”.
Entry Requirements :
- Diploma in Human Resource Management or relevant qualification from a recognized institution/CHRP Part I Section I
- Proficiency in computer applications
- Fulfilled the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya.

An officer at this level will report to a senior officer.
Duties and responsibilities
- Process clearance forms for those retiring
- Write transfer letters
- Record complaints made to the office for further analysis and action
- Populate recruitment template with bio-data of candidate for recruitment processs
- Guide the staff in filing and compiling wealth declaration forms;
- Assisting in processing salaries, allowances, benefits and final dues;
- Update the staff compliment data;
- Process card and staff ID’s.
- Assisting in collating information relating to recruitment and selection, appointments, training, performance management, discipline, pension, medical and complaints
- Promote public values and principles
- Mentoring and coaching
