To proactively consult and partner with business unit leaders to drive the development and effective execution of strategic people solutions for sustainable and outstanding business performance.
THE JOB DUTIES
- Collaborate with cross functional Business Units’ leader in orchestrating the development and deployment of the strategic/operational business plan.
- Lead the development and integration of people and organization strategy that will guarantee successful execution of the plan of the business unit (BU).
- Maintain a clear organisation design, structure, processes, job descriptions, and job holders’ specifications that support business effectiveness.
- Implement a workforce planning process and talent management framework by partnering with the business unit leaders to achieve people and organization strategy.
- Build highly competent and sufficient talent pipeline by identifying potential leaders and successors through holistic talent management initiatives.
- Interface with the centre for shared service support for the delivery of core HR services to the BU actively monitoring efficient service delivery.
- Enhance employee motivation, engagement and discipline through implementation of rewards, recognition and various retention initiatives.
THE PERSON MUST
- Have solid communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Have demonstrated analytical thinking, problem solving, and decision-making skills.
- Be a critical thinker with success in developing innovative solutions.
- Possess exceptional interpersonal, stakeholders’ management and influencing abilities.
- Be proficient with Microsoft office suites or related HRIS software.
QUALIFICATION
First degree in any course.
Professional membership with CIPM is an added advantage.
EXPERIENCE
More than 5 years in a similar capacity and industry.
Demonstrable experience with HR metrics
Expertise in strategic workforce planning and performance evaluation will be an added advantage.
