DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Services and maintaining computer related equipment such as printers, projectors, web cameras, and scanners
• Deliver prepared training to users at site for new equipment and software
• Ability to travel to remote sites as needed (Scheduled or on demand)
• Installation of PC Hardware
• Check and maintain computer hardware such as mouse and keyboards.
• Develop and maintain local networks
• Ensure security and privacy of Networks and computer systems.
• Assist in and plan training, development and education for new software and hardware
• Troubleshoot to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner
• Maintain records/ logs of spares and fixes
• Maintain expenses
• Maintain hardware and software inventory
• Identify computer or network equipment shortages and place orders when necessary
• Ability to work off hours if needed
• Tender related duties

Any other duties assigned by the supervisor

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must have a full grade 12 certificate.
• A Certificate in any IT related field or any relevant field will be an added advantage
• Traceable working experience will be an added advantage.
