About the role Key duties and responsibilities

  • Gather, analyze, and interpret large datasets related to transportation operations, identifying trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive reports and dashboards to communicate key performance indicators (KPIs) to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business processes and workflows within the transport logistics domain.
  • Propose and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and optimize resource utilization.
  • Work closely with IT teams to assess, recommend, and implement technology solutions that align with business objectives.
  • Provide insights into the integration of advanced technologies such as Transportation Management Systems (TMS) or route optimization tools.
  • Utilize historical data and industry trends to develop accurate demand forecasts for transportation services.
  • Collaborate with demand planning teams to ensure alignment between transportation capacity and business requirements.
  • Provide actionable insights to management for data-driven decision-making.
  • Engage with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements for system enhancements or new technological implementations.
  • Define, track, and analyze key performance indicators to evaluate the effectiveness of transportation operations.
  • Ensure a clear understanding of user needs and expectations to inform IT development.

About you

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration.
  • Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience in the logistics field and its dynamics.
  • Proven experience (3 years) in business analysis, preferably within the transport logistics industry.
  • 3-5 years in Transport /logistics/FMCG environment.
  • IT literate (Advanced Microsoft Office)
  • Well-organized individual and results-oriented.
  • Experience in SAP, ERP, Oracle, TRM, and technical aptitude for new business developments.
