Internal Auditor

Carrying out Independent test of controls in order to provide assurance that company policies and procedures are carried out in an orderly manner and efficient manner in order to accomplish company objectives.

Ensuring that a comprehensive control environment exists by vetting documentation of business flowcharts, business process and internal control documentation to ensure they mitigate potential business risks

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare internal audit plan for the year
• Assesses the business risk exposure and make recommendation to management for improvements
• Review company systems and procedures to ensure compliance with Group Policies, local laws and regulations
• Monitor changes in the internal audit practices and recommend the same to management for implementation
• Test the accuracy, completeness and authorization of business transactions to assess whether they support business objectives
• Evaluate whether company resources are used efficiently, effectively and economically
• Carry out investigations where necessary

Qualifications and Experience

• Graduate Degree in Accounting, Audit
• Professional accounting qualification will be an added advantage
• Three years’ experience in audit or accounting
