Duties & Responsibilities:

• Optimisation of the existing access microwave links.
• Periodic monitoring of microwave transmission links with the view of carrying out optimisation as required
• Support RF team in optimisation of BTS sites transmission links and upgrade
• Up to date on recent global and local best practice as it relates to transmission/RAN planning, design and maintenance.
• Vast knowledge of link budget, implementation and maintenance.
• Manage LTE and Microwave maintenance (Huawei/SAF/Ceragon)
• Good knowledge of routing and switching
• Ability to configure and troubleshoot Cisco and Huawei routers
• Analyze, provide resolution and respond swiftly to alarms within acceptable SLA and resolution of faults on sites at various levels – Transmission/RAN
• Manages the monitoring, inspection and acceptance of new sites and ensuring 100% compliance to the customer’s specification
• Ensure efficient supervision works undertaken by sub-contractors on sites
• Maintain comprehensive records of all transmission links, network and power equipment on site
• Monitors and coordinates all active and passive activities on sites
• Qualifications 
• The job holder must have a Bachelor’s Degree (Second Class Upper), and a minimum of 2 years post qualification experience in this field.
