Roles and Responsibilities
- Provide inputs to implementation of communication strategies.
- Research communication trends to be integrated into communication strategy.
- Develop and edit communications copy (opinion editorials, press releases, blogs, newsletters, website content) for organisation’s campaign actions and projects.
- Provide communication assistance in stakeholder engagement, media engagement with spokespeople and communities.
- Liaise with stakeholders, coastal communities and civil society organizations.
- Monitor current affairs and alert team to need to respond/write (op eds, blogs, press releases, media advisory) to current news in response.
- Content creation for social media.
Qualifications and Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Studies, Journalism, Public Relations or related field.
