Duties: The successful candidate will be expected to: i) teach undergraduate and graduate level courses especially Biostatistics, Design of Experiments, Non-parametric, Agricultural Statistics and Biometry ii) supervise undergraduate, Masters and PhD student research as need may arise; iii) participate in all academic and professional activities of the department including research; iv) carry out any other duties as may be assigned by the Head of Department.
Requirements:
Candidates should have:
i) At least a relevant Doctorate in Statistics. A relevant Masters’ Degree in Statistics with a Bachelors’ degree in Statistics of at least a 2
(i) pass /GPA of at least 3.6 or equivalent may be considered under special circumstances;
ii) Show evidence of engagement in research.
iii) Evidence of governance and social engagement will be an added advantage;
iv) University teaching experience or equivalent will be an added advantage.
v) Areas of interest in Biostatistics, Design of Experiments, Non-parametric, Agricultural Statistics and Biometry.
