Responsibilities:
- Network and build partnerships with churches across Ghana;
- Network and build partnerships with local leaders, chiefs, assembly men, queen mothers and other opinion leaders;
- Network and build relationships with key media and performing arts partners;
- Deliver written (articles, memos, third party speeches) and spoken messages to key external audiences;
- Communicate IJM’s model of change and provide trainings to church partners;
- Provide Biblical trainings for churches and Faith leaders;
- Provide trainings for community leaders, government officials, and opinion leaders;
- Provide trainings for NGO and development partners;
- Assist caseworkers to provide technical training for Justice Sector Training partners;
- Record and report qualitative and quantitative data retrieved from trainings, outreach events, community engagements, partnerships, and media engagements;
- Build strategy regarding local engagements in source and destination communities;
- Own, lead, and organize key advocacy events for government, churches, and development partners;
- Assist key partners and stakeholders to execute their own events relevant to our program work; and
- Host and facilitate international church and donor visits.
Requirements:
- Minimum five years of experience in Ministry;
- Master’s degree preferred;
- Minimum five years community outreach, event planning, and/or partnership work preferred;
- Knowledge and experience of working on MS Office effectively; and
- Strong Biblical knowledge.
