Core Responsibilities
Serves as the PMI Evolve Ethiopia country program Property Manager, managing the project’s inventory control system, including storage, affixing inventory stickers, quality control, updating and reconciling property records, and inventory reporting for all project assets and materials monthly to the project management.
Maintains an accurate, up-to-date register of all property.
File all product information included with new property (manuals, warrantees, etc.).
Responsible for designating another office member to conduct a semi-annual physical verification of the inventory and reviewing the results.
Support all investigations following a report of lost or stolen property, and ensure the appropriate documentation (memos, reports, etc.) are filed. The property details should be appropriately updated on the property register.
Prepare and submit the annual non-expendable property (NXP) report to USAID.
Lead the annual disposition process in collaboration with technical managers following the second physical evaluation of property towards the end of the year.
Directs and supervises the storage, distribution, and transport of all project assets and materials – whether IRS, ITN, entomology, LSM, or new malaria vector control products – commodities and equipment throughout the country.
Manages the logistics for all project activities, including IRS/LSM campaigns, routine and/or mass ITN distributions, entomological activities, and other events such as trainings, workshops and meetings, etc.
Monitors the logistics and materials distribution plan prior to each IRS/LSM campaign or ITN distribution.
Supervises and manages the Warehouse Specialist and Logistics Specialist; delegates or assigns tasks as needed.
Works closely with local government stakeholders, partner organizations, and/or community leaders to leverage existing logistics capacity and elevate their skills.
In collaboration with the Environmental Compliance & Safety Officer and Logistics Specialist:
Ensures that all health and safety measures are in place and followed when utilizing insecticide- or larvicide-based products
Ensures clearance and proper disposal of all waste material and excess items from project stores.
Helps to train warehouse managers, site supervisors, storekeepers, and other seasonal support staff on environmental compliance and safety issues related to malaria vector control interventions.

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree + five years of relevant experience, or master’s degree + three years of relevant experience, or PhD
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration or other relevant field.
- At least four (4) years of relevant professional experience, with significant experience in the logistics and management of commodities. Demonstrated experience in field warehouse/stores management.
- At least two (2) years working in close partnership with government stakeholders, local community leaders, and partner organizations with an emphasis on capacity strengthening and skills transfer.
- Demonstrated experience managing logistics for ITN distribution, IRS, or LSM is an advantage.
- Demonstrated capability to work in close partnership with external stakeholders and transfer skills.
- Excellent management, supervisory, organizational, computer, and writing skills.
- English language fluency.
