Romans 12:2
” And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.”

Many Christians have never learned the truth about their identity in Christ. For example, some suppose it is in men to be unfaithful, and it is in women to be loud mouthed and nagging. Such a mindset is not from God. Your gender does not define your character. Your mindset does. Many folks want to serve God their own way, and it doesn’t work. Having had come to Christ, you must expect to be changed. You can not continue to think like a man or woman of the world. You must think like a child of God. Don’t take into your life any culture which is not consistent with the word. We are a different kind of people, a New Creation IN CHRIST and we have a new way of life.
If there is no change in thought and actions after you are born again, it is because you have not allowed the word to influence you. That even puts your salvation into question. You are a child of God, don’t act like a devil, don’t speak and conduct yourself like those who don’t know God. Show your family that you know God, don’t be the ordinary son, don’t be an ordinary mother in law or daughter in law, don’t be an ordinary wife or husband, let people get to know the Christ in you. Let your humanity be swallowed up in divinity. Yes, you are a boss, but let your subordinates see God in you, no matter what you do, reveal Christ. You don’t have to use foul language just because you are a commuter omnibus driver. Conduct yourself as a Christian.
You are first Christian before you are a wife, husband, male, or female. Let everything you do reveal Christ. Let no environment turn you into something, instead : carry your own atmosphere and influence your environment. Change the world around you. You may be a nurse or teacher, be known that you reveal Christ, let the patients or students testify that in a wicked generation, they see God in you. Be changed, think differently, and think God thoughts.
