” God said to Noah, I intend to make an end of all flesh, for through men, the land is filled with violence; and behold, I will destroy them and the land. Make yourself an ark of gopher or cypress wood; make in it rooms (stalls, pens, coops, nests, cages, and compartments) and cover it inside and out with pitch (bitumen).”
Gen 6:13-14
The scriptures have made me wise. Nobody can understand the scriptures in reality and come out foolish. God indeed miraculously saved Noah and his family, but the miracle involved Noah making an Ark. Some folks suppose that miracles of God always have to be mysterious. For example, if all you do is pray for food, money, a car, or a house, such things may never just fall out from heaven for you. God may want you to take certain steps of faith or to obey certain instructions, and without you doing that, you may end up thinking prayer doesn’t work. Yes, you prayed, but what did God instruct you to do for your promotion? There are times God instructed Joshua to have the priests step in the Jordan to stop the waters from flowing, but here he instructed Noah to build an Ark. Do you see the difference? Moses had a different instruction. He was to divide the red sea. If Moses had simply copied Noah, then his ark would possibly have drowned.
Sometimes, the miracle is in you waking up early and taking a jog, or going to the marketplace. The miracle may not be something that seems spiritual, but because it’s God’s instruction, it’s therefore spiritual. There are physical laws you may be ignorant of for which reason you are disadvantaged. If, for example, you don’t have a job, the first question is, what skill do you have? What can you do excellently? What have you done to market your skill? Even the gospel is powerful, and it’s from God, but we have to strategically take it out to the nations if ever they will receive it. Your skills also won’t just attract favor without you also strategically taking them out. You have to be spiritual but not religious. Religious people do mediocre work, but just suppose God’s grace will see them through. They don’t study in school but want good grades by miracle means, they give biblical names to their businesses, hoping that will make the businesses grow big. God does not promote laziness.
If you are a Christian politician, you may not just win the election because you prayed, you have to go out and campaign, and market your brand. Many times, God’s strategy involves you doing something physical. We are to be practical people, not religious freaks
