The Administrative Officer is responsible for collation of expenses, logistical/administrative aspects of consultations, sending emails, creation of documents, forms, policy briefs, surveys and links, and managing all administrative aspects related to the project. They are the administrative focal point for all team members working on this project. The Administrative Officer sits within the GCM Project Taskforce.
The role is part-time, with an expected weekly commitment of 4-6 hours. The appointment will last for the duration of the project (October 2024 – June 2025). All aspects of the project will be done remotely.
Total compensation: 3250-3700 EUR maximum (dependent on location and experience)
Timeline of Activities
This project intends to be complementary to the GCM Regional Review process as far as possible. However, in all cases that will not be possible. Regional implementation proposals (and budgets) are to be finalised by 1 October 2024. Implementation of activities is therefore to be coordinated between mid-late
October and June 2025, with consultations to be staggered and spread out across the year. All Policy Briefs intend to be published by June 2025, with actions taken after in the run-up to the IMRF based on youth recommendations.
Essential Criteria
Aged between 18-30, with the ability to work part-time for the duration of the project
Excellent organisational skills
Full proficiency in English
Very good verbal, written and numeracy skills
Ability to use Google Drive and assorted technologies for administrative purposes
Logical, driven, and task-oriented individual who is able to work independently and as part of a team

Experience of local community engagement around migration, displacement, and sustainable development
Keen interest in improving efficiency and effectiveness of reporting and project management
Experience with providing administrative support and project management
Speaking and writing French, Spanish, Arabic, Russian or other relevant language
Good knowledge of monitoring and evaluation
