The main purpose of the role is to oversee the Islamic operations of the FirstRand Group under the guidance of the Head of Shari’ah, to ensure that they are conducted as prescribed by the Shari’ah Advisory Committee (SAC)
Are you someone who can:
Advise on Shari’ah-related matters
Engage in research and product development
Conduct Shari’ah training
Report to the Shari’ah Advisory Committee (SAC)
You will be an ideal candidate if you have the following:
- Are a Shari’ah Scholar who graduated from a reputable tertiary Islamic institution
- Possess a degree or diploma in accounting, law, business or other relevant field
- Have 2-3 years relevant experience
- Financial Services Experience will be advantageous
