Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Business or any related fields

Professional certificates in Global Markets and Treasury Management are an added advantage.

Experience Required
Global Markets Trading Market Making
1-2 years: Basic level of knowledge in the banking sector and understanding of global markets products and services. Knowledge of relevant contractual and legislative issues, risk management techniques, and use of derivatives and various pricing tools. Knowledge of a broad range of trading techniques and commodity market characteristics.

Key Job Functions 

• Data Insights – Research and understand market data and trends, the effects of economic factors on those trends, as well as trade and client data to provide input and inform trading team activities, including market commentary, consistent and competitive price formation, trade positioning and trade idea formation.
• Regulatory Compliance – Adhere to all relevant codes of conduct set by Corporate and Investment Banking and other external bodies to ensure full procedural compliance.
• Track Profit & Loss- Generate and compile daily reports and complete trade reconciliations to provide an overall picture of reserves and daily trading activities to guide decision-making.
• Trade Execution – Develop an understanding of trading limits as well as the overall trading risk landscape and relevant frameworks.  Book tickets and provide assistance in operational and booking investigations that impact Profit & Loss.
• Trading Enhancement – Foster a learning mindset and be aware of digital trends and technological disruptors.
