Duties and Responsibilities
• Conduct in-depth research on laboratory equipment, materials, and safety protocols.
• Develop detailed specifications for laboratory design, layout, and functionality.
• Collaborate with educators and scientists to determine optimal laboratory setups.
• Ensure compliance with relevant safety and regulatory standards.
• Prepare cost estimates and procurement plans for laboratory equipment and supplies.
The ideal candidate must possess
• A minimum of an MSc Degree in Physics , Chemistry or Biology
• A PhD Physics, Chemistry or Biology.
• At least five (5) years’ experience in a university instruction and teaching environment
• A deep understanding of laboratory equipment, safety standards, and tertiary educational requirements.
• Proven experience in laboratory design, planning, or management
