DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Enabling the community to participate in designing, planning, implementing, managing and evaluating development plans/projects;
• To provide and facilitate access to training for village/street leaders and various development groups in the village/street regarding good governance and leadership, entrepreneurship. participatory methods community and independent work;
• To be a link between citizens, leaders and other Government employees in carrying out development activities;
• Empowering citizens to plan and implement independent work at the Village/street level;
• Prepare and provide information on community development work every month to the village leadership and to its supervisor;
• Helping to create social and progressive groups;
• Identifying and enabling poor households to raise their economy through opportunities and resources around them;
• Facilitating the implementation of interventions to prevent gender violence;
• Facilitating the implementation of women’s empowerment programs;
• Facilitating justice and education programs at the family level;
• Facilitating the implementation of interventions to prevent gender violence; and
• To do other work assigned by his Head of work.

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
Employed graduates of the fourth form or the sixth form, with a Diploma in one of the following fields:- Community Development, Social Science, Development Studies, Planning and Management Projects (Project Planning and Management), Gender and Development, Rural Development from Colleges of Community Development or other Colleges recognized by the Government.
