Reporting to the Coordinator- Operational Technology, you will be responsible for providing technical and maintenance support of operational technologies to leverage set production operational key performance indicators and asset performance metrics in the core business to inform operational excellence.

Your duties will include but are not limited to the following: 

• Maintenance of operational technology systems and related applications
• Ensure high system reliability, availability for real-time systems and data integrity.
• Provide support, including procedural documentation and relevant reports.
• Follow /interpret circuit diagrams and written instructions to repair a fault or set up a system.
• Troubleshoot system, network problems, diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults.
• Testing and evaluating new technology.
• Install, maintain, and repair digital VHF Two-Way Radio System.
• Install, test and maintain Cisco, Rajant Kinetic Mesh Wireless Network, HP GPS Drill Navigation, Fleet Management, Geotechnical, Security, Survey and IP Network Cameras.
• Develop, implement, and maintain safe work procedures and promote high safety and health awareness.
• Rapidly establish a good working relationship with internal and external stakeholders.

To be considered for the position, you must meet the following requirements:

• Grade 12 School Certificate.
• Craft or Technician Certificate in Information Technology or Electronics Engineering.
• Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a similar role in the Mining Industry
• Good computer skills with the ability to use word processing, presentation, and spreadsheet applications.
• Member of Engineering Institution of Zambia (EIZ)
• Relevant Certification will be an added advantage.
• Holder of a Zambian driver’s license
