Yalelo seeks to hire an experienced and eager Electrical Automotive Technician responsible for Installation, Repair, Wiring and Maintenance of Electrical and Electronic Systems/ Components in Accessories in Cars water vessels and other land moving equipment.
The Right Fit candidate will:
- Fault Diagnosis for Malfunctioning Motor vehicles/ equipment.
- Repair damaged or faulty electrical parts
- Install new systems and equipment
- Carry out routine maintenance works
- Understand the complicated working parts of a vehicle’s electrical system, including the ignition, engine, chassis, battery, fuel injection and engine management systems, anti-lock braking, battery, wiring and charging systems, heating and air conditioning systems, lighting and indicators
- Â Maintain a working knowledge of current industry best practices in automotive repair
- Conduct extensive diagnostic procedures to determine the sources of vehicle problems and provide accurate repair recommendations
- Inspect vehicles according to the regulatory requirements for emissions and safety
- Conduct necessary repairs and take vehicles for test drives to verify soundness
- Maintain legible and accurate paperwork for company records
- Clean and maintain the work environment to ensure equipment longevity and workplace safety
The Electrical Automotive Technician Must Have:
- Knowledge of Computerized Diagnostic tools
- Knowledge of Electrical/Electronic Components
- Knowledge of Increasingly sophisticated in-car entertainment systems
- A Strong background in Auto Electrical .
- Communication, Good Troubleshooting, Analytical & Problem Solving, Interpersonal Skills
Qualifications Requirements for the Automotive Mechanic are:
- Grade Twelve (12) Certificate, Automotive Technician or Craft certificate, Valid Driver’s License
- 3-5 Years of Auto Electric Experience
- Experience in Project Management, Engineering Equipment Maintenance and Repair
- Experience working in an FMCG Industry is an added advantage
