The Lead Operations is accountable and responsible for customer value management, pricing and revenue initiatives that drive the overall Home Broadband (HBB) performance of the operating country. This lead will generate products and propositions that attract new users, grow usage base, HBB monthly connections and retention of HBB subscribers.

Key Result Area

  • • Develop competitive pricing and customer value management (CVM) propositions for all home broadband revenue streams (Device sales -Routers, Mifi, HBB Packages).
  • • Ensure Unique Selling Proposition for each HBB package and products is defined.
  • • Ensuring monthly HBB special offers are in place to drive profit and revenue in line with AOP.
  • • Identify business growth opportunities through detailed and regular analysis of data.
  • • Identify and analyze industry or geographic trends with business strategy implications regularly updating HBB and Data management teams on market and competitor activities and products.
  • • Understand the HBB competitive set and impact of Airtel HBB propositions or products launched in growing share and overall industry market size.
  • • Understand drivers for acquisition, retention and churn and manage HBB portfolio accordingly through CVM and other related activities.
  • • Oversee pricing of new tariffs and promotions for all products in the Home Broadband business.
  • • Full accountability and responsibility for product life cycle management of the HBB offers.
  • • Ensuring whole data ecosystem ( Fixed , Mobile , HBB opco and HBB group ) are fully aligned to the pricing offers being executed.
  • • HBB Business Performance Reporting, Analysis and Monitoring.
  • • Financial reporting for HBB business.

Ideal Candidate

  • • Bachelor of Technology / Commerce / Finance with in-depth understanding of telecom trends.
  • • MBA – Business / Finance an added advantage.
  • • 5-7 years of experience in leading a highly qualified and experienced team in a highly complex environment.
  • • 5 years of in-depth Sales and Marketing experience in the telecom/ FMCG/ Retail industry.
  • • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • • Strong Business Acumen.
  • • Consulting and Facilitation skills.
  • • Teamwork and collaboration.
  • • Strong results orientation.
