Coca-Cola Beverages Africa requires the services of a Mechanical Technician, reporting to the Manufacturing Development Specialist. The Mechanical Technician will be required to ensure the safe and uninterrupted operation of the production mechanical equipment through regular planned maintenance.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

To plan and execute mechanical projects that will increase the productivity of the company

• To ensure minimum downtime (maximum availability) of production lines, services, equipment and machines • Execute planned maintenance activities

• Provide first line breakdown support

• Constant evaluation on lines to detect abnormalities

• Coach Operators.

Skills, Experience & Education

Grade 12

• Recognized Mechanical qualification

• Minimum Five (5) years maintenance experience

• At least minimum two (2) years relevant experience in the Fast-Moving-Consumer-Goods-Business

• Intimate knowledge of the beverage manufacturing process

• Excellent customer service and communication skills

• Results driven and process orientated

• Ability to work in a team

• Must be a self-starter and be able to work under pressures

• Must have an appreciation for quality and technical standards.
