JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Leadership Tasks:
• Lead and define team responsibilities and workload distribution.
• Define performance metrics and ensure high-performance standards. Foster a culture of continuous learning and growth.
• Set departmental and personal objectives and evaluate periodically.
• Logistics and Transport:
• Coordinate shipments and oversee export processes.
• Optimize internal transportation.
• Manage budgets and resolve issues promptly.
• Cooling, Storage, and Packing:
• Maintain proper cooling and storage.
• Implement quality control measures.
• Manage inventory efficiently.
• Shipping and Communication:
• Comprehensive liaison with freight agents and Dümmen Orange back-office. Manage budgeting, procurement and ensure cost effective operations Communicate with clients, external and internal teams.
• Compliance and Regulatory Affairs:
• Ensure compliance with local and international trade regulations. Lead compliance efforts.
• Documentation and Compliance:
• Manage export-related documents.
• Verify accuracy to prevent delays.

EDUCATION/PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• 5-7 years of experience in logistics and export management in a similar role.
• Expertise in international shipping, customs procedures, and trade regulations. Budget management and procurement experience.
• Proven leadership in a cross-functional environment.
• Proficiency in logistics and supply chain management tools.
• Familiarity with cooling, storage, and packing procedures for perishable goods.
