Duties & Responsibilities
Responsible for operating various Machines on Spreads Line.
Ability to monitor and do in-line quality checks and adjustments
Responsible for Testing of Cheese – Laboratory and Quality Testing
Products is produced according to the set Quality parameters
Support in all production related tasks.Stock counts
Processing Operations (including, CIP, COP, Cooking, UHT, Filling).
A High standard of housekeeping is upheld.
Waste control: Monitor and record waste, samples, reworks, pigfeed and COD’s.
Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices.
Adhere to Health and Safety Regulations.
Participate in company driven programs, i.e. ISO22000 / NOSA

Required Skills
Grade 12 or equivalent
NQF3/ Second year Occupational certificate/ Diary Primary Processing certificate or equivalent
At least 3 year’s experiences within a food manufacturing environment
At least 2- 3 year’s experiences as an operator of a Stephan-Cookers, GBM Cookers, Bosch, Sausage, Spreads Jars, X-Ray machine, Flow wraps machine will prove advantageous
Relevant experience on similar filling and packing equipment
Cooking Experience
Computer literate
Self-motivated
Ability to work effectively, independently and co-operate at all levels
Team player with a sense of urgency
Willing to work shifts and long hours including weekends and public holidays
Excellent communication skills at all levels
Accuracy and punctuality essential
Ability to work and make decisions under pressure
Ability to operate in a very cold, warm, hot and dusty environment
Proven Ability to do Inline adjustments to recipes
Honest, strong personal ethics and track record of working in a confidential environment.
