Duties & Responsibilities
Responsible for operating machines.
Help with preparation on packaging machines
Preparing packaging material
Packing of products into cartons according to procedure
Control product weight
Ensure correct coding of daily production
Packing and wrapping of products on pallets
Cleaning of packaging machines
Cleaning of factory after production
Report any mechanical defects in filling lines
Report quality deviations on products or packaging if occurs
Report any unsafe equipment or situation to artisans
Help to maintain safety and quality standards.
Required Skills
Grade 12 or equivalent
NQF3/ Second year Occupational certificate/ Diary Primary Processing certificate or equivalent
At least 2 years experiences within a food manufacturing environment
Knowledge of complex equipment and be able to operate all the equipment in the butter factory
Must be willing to work shifts, overtime, on weekends and public holidays
Physical strength and good health to move pallets
Must have complete basic dairy training.
Basic computer skills.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
To be accurate and have a sharp sense of punctuality.
To be reliable, trustworthy, pro-active and energetic.
To be a team player.
Able to work with people.
Willing to work in an extremely environment conditions.
Not be afraid of heights.
