- Supporting cases of child protection concern or survivors of GBV to access justice by being aware of South Sudan laws and police procedures related to children and SGBV, and providing advice accordingly. Provide legal advice to cases based on the laws, policies and frameworks of the Republic of South Sudan.
- Based on the individual case recommendation and consent of the individual/parent/guardian, support case referral to services to access justice (i.e. reporting to police, referral for legal assistance or representation), case follow up to support the child of concern or survivor of SGB
- Alongside other Child Protection and SGBV awareness-raising and community mobilization activities, lead and/or support information sessions and awareness-raising efforts on the rights protections and laws of the Republic of South Sudan. Develop IEC materials as necessary and support the Protection Coordinator in their development and dissemination. Conduct information sessions at community level.
- Support the strengthening of referral pathways as they pertain to access to justice for children and survivors of SGBV through the establishment of partnerships and collaborations with local lawyers, legal partners and associations and women’s rights organizations.
- Assist clients with obtaining legal assistance; interface with legal providers to guide victims through multiple systems. Assist survivors with accessing other services (job training, counseling, housing, medical services, etc.); set up appointments, and provide transportatio
