- Data Entry, Data Processing, and System Maintenance of Time and Attendance System.
- Attend to employee queries related to remuneration, appointment, and benefits.
- Assist employees with benefit applications such as Social Security (MSD & ECA).
- Provide guidance on disciplinary matters in accordance with relevant policy and regulation, and draft disciplinary sanctions upon instruction.
- Communicate policies and procedures to employees.
- Provide support and assist with communication for shop stewards and union engagements.
- Provide accurate and timely monthly reports on specific people practices (timekeeping, ER).
- Perform the administrative duties required for Port Access.
- Administer all minor, moderate, and serious misconduct sanctions.
- Support internal and external dispute resolution as instructed.
- Maintain accurate employee records and ensure data integrity in the HR Information System/s.
- Assist with compliance activities, including ensuring the organization’s compliance with employment laws and regulations.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Industrial Psychology, Law, or a related field (3 years) with a minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a similar role.
- Alternatively, Grade 12 or AS Level with a minimum of five (5) years’ experience in a similar role.
- Experience in the Logistics Sector will be an advantage.
- Experience in an HR Information System (e.g., Sage People, Jarrison, SAP, SuccessFactors) will be an advantage.
- Namibian citizenship.
- Driver’s License.
