Post: Broadcast Technician/Engineer (2 posts)
Duties and Responsibilities
The candidate must be capable of maintaining and servicing the technical equipment of the station. Duties and responsibilities include the following:
-Installation and operation of broadcast equipment
-Maintenance and servicing of broadcast equipment
-Troubleshooting broadcast transmission problems
-Application of transmission collapse preventive
-Drafting station policies that comply with proper handling and use of broadcast technologies
-Liaising with external telecommunications service providers
-Any other relevant duties as may be assigned
Qualifications and Experience
-An Honours Degree in Electronics/Telecommunications/Information Systems/Computer Science with at least a 2.1 class.
-At least one year of working experience in a broadcasting set-up
-A Master’s Degree in Electronics/Telecommunications/Information Systems/Computer Science will be an added advantage.
-At least one year working experience at an institution of higher learning will be an added advantage.
